Lilliana's Testimonial
I started seeing Kelly for laser hair removal on my legs before I began esthetics school in 2019. Having some strong Italian and Lebanese genes, I had a lot of dark hair that grew extremely fast and as a result I had a difficult time keeping up with shaving, especially in the summer months. Once I started working at Radiance I continued with the laser hair removal treatments and decided to do other areas as well, since it worked so well for me. Laser hair removal was truly life changing, not having to worry about shaving everyday, getting razor burn and having visible dark hair follicles with highly irritated skin with ingrown hairs, which would often leave behind residual marks known as PIH (Post Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation). Now that I have been treating for a while, I only require touch ups in the summer or before a vacation, which makes it very low maintenance and quite manageable.
While in esthetics school I experienced an influx of breakouts, more than my normal flare ups. I learned that my skin barrier was severely compromised, due to the excessive skin care treatments that were performed on me as part of the practical hands-on training in esthetics school. To repair my skin's barrier, I learned as much as possible of the physiology of skin and how it functions. With understanding as to why my skin had changed so drastically in school, I was able to create a skincare routine, using the professional grade skincare products at Radiance, and successfully repaired my skin, restored its balance, while continuing to control breakouts. I feel so much more confident now than I ever did before and I love being able to share my knowledge with my clients!
In 2021 I underwent a breast reduction. Although the benefits from the reduction completely outweighed the scars, it was still important for me to minimize and soften some of that scarring. About 4 months post op Kelly began to treat my scarring and was so compassionate when treating me. She performed a series of 3 manual Microneedling (Skin Pen) with PRP directly on and around my scars. As a result, my scars are much finer, lighter and flatter and I am forever grateful for Kelly’s help! Although my opinion could be considered biased, I do have to say that my results are pretty impressive!
